A serial killer known as "The Avenger" is murdering blonde women in London when an odd and mysterious man arrives at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bunting, looking for a room to rent. Soon Mrs. Bunting begins to suspect that her new lodger is The Avenger, just as her blonde daughter, Daisy, begins to take a liking to him.
