Influential and self-made cattle, mining, and timber magnate, George Washington McLintock, had carved an empire in a small dusty town near Mesa Verde. While waiting for his daughter to arrive from college, the appearance of his estranged wife Katherine, new land settlers, and Comanche Indians creates tension for the small town and McLintock.
