A flying saucer emits a blinding ray of light over Southern California, causing the dead residents of a cemetery to turn into living ghouls. As the very sight of extraterrestrial activity brings terror to the once-peaceful area, spacecraft commander Eros and his statuesque lieutenant Tanna start deploying "Plan 9" to take over Earth in order to save the universe.
